Langhe Pinot Gris 2008

A terrific Pinot Gris from one of the early producers of Pinot Gris in Oregon. The 2008 has citrus like you wouldn't believe. We like it a lot and think you will too!

Winemaker note

"Lange Estate Winery was the fourth producer of Pinot Gris in the United States and has built a reputation for producing some of the state’s best examples of this popular Oregon grape. The Willamette Valley Pinot Gris is entirely stainless-steel fermented in the classic “Pinot Grigio” style resulting in a light, crisp, approachable wine true to varietal character with beautifully balanced acidity. This 2008 vintage shows orange blossom, nectarine, and Meyer lemon on the nose, while rich-but-racy palate displays mandarin, mango, ripe nectarine, lime zest, and a hint of honey. Try this staple with seafood, sushi, grilled peaches, or soft cheeses. It is also an easy-drinking wine to enjoy, chilled, on its own!"
